Painted Portraits were the original "Selfie".. but you know... they took WAY LONGER.  

Part of exploring the self-portrait is to discover more than just the landscape of one's own face and body.   I have found that self-portraits allow me to come to terms with and appreciate the effects of getting older while having a captive subject who is always available.​
